Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE! ONLY the One 1964 or 1965 Bobby Hull Canadian Hockey Game in original box with instruction sheet, which is bilingual English and French. All players paint is still nice as is the board paint. 5 each Montreal and Toronto team players, plus goalies, and plus both 90 ° "shot maker" double players. However, one is separated at the center seam, so would need light repair.

They are made to replace a regular player, but only the one is workable now. The other is separated in the middle, so as I stated would need light repair to reattach, and then can be used. Also included is the "roving referee", which comes on a 10 metal removable shaft for one player or a third person to use to drop a puck. This steel rim base surround is excellent.

The painted hardboard top surface is in very good condition showing minor wear as normal. Is has been wiped clean, ready to use. The metal rods work and slide freely as no rust. Easy to spin the players to shoot, etc.

This game includes the overhead plastic score board, with original worn cardboard inserts with teams named to keep up with scores from around the league! There are 5 missing red plastic sliding arrows used on these to mark the out of town game scores. One small plastic yellow prong is broken off the base which holds one side support for the overhead sign. There are a few old cellophane tape residue marks near top where it looks like old tape was used. This game includes THREE different pucks.

A black'normal' one, a black magnetized one for puck control, and a roller ball one. This one can be dropped through the hole in top of center overhead, and it jiggles down like a Pachinko piece to land at center ice for a face off. It can also be played with for fast movement.

The 2 net areas even still have the two yellow extensions at each end to the sides of the goal net to prevent puck from getting shot into a corner out of reach of the players. There are 9 of the original 12 yellow plastic Team Flag holders which fit over the rim of the sideboards, and 7 of the flags, but all 7 are in poor condition. There are 7 of the original 12 small cardboard inserts for the top of scoreboard announcing the two teams playing tonight. The two double ended wires for flashing the red light bulb on a score are here! However, one battery holder at one end is damaged by rust. One of the light bulbs has most of the red color worn off. This was probably on the end of the game which corresponded to the box end stained with old water stain from being stored on end in a basement. I cannot guarantee that the lights will work, but they may with cleaning of the rust off the metal battery holders. One of the folding base support "legs" which are snapped into position to hold the game off the table is missing.

Another one is present, but not attached except by an old loose screw. Two on one side are complete and work. The game can be played without the two supports. There is that stain on the bottom end of the box, and the top end when standing was torn open, piece still attached at one point.

It has some old wide masking tape on the back wrapped a bit onto front, and the end is partially separated by the opening job, but front panel still complete with one piece of the tape showing. The box is stamped on the top end with a number "49-65017", meaning Dept 49 and stock number, the Toy Dept.
